Google returned with the news that was
so much fun for its users. Now Google has expanded the scope of its webmail
service. It started with integrating google chat with Gmail, and added support
for video call. Google recently had to add back to the integrated video conference
through google plus hangouts.
Today google member webmail service
another dimension to her, because now you will soon enjoy free sms service for Gmail
users worldwide. Actually this is not entirely new features, sms on Gmail chat
has been available as a labs feature for several years. But google just
graduated this feature from labs to send sms to contacts who are offline. Just
type his name in the chat window, and there you will get the option to send sms
from the "other options" in the box expands to the right of your
contacts. And this feature is only useful if you have a phone number to contact
you..
Sms Gmail chat supports all carriers
across the United States and well-known operators in over 50 countries. In
India supports Aircel, IDEA, Loop mobile. Mts, reliance, TataDoComo, TataIndiCom,
Vodafone (Delhi, Mumbai, Kalkota, Gujarat, AP, Bihar, WB & A & N,
Assem, Ne band of course) and there are two big names from the list of Airtel
and BSNL.
Gmail SMS service is totally free,
however there are some cancellation to prevent abuse. Initially you will have
50 credits message, and every time you chat, the credit will be reduced one by
one, but when you receive a SMS in Chat, your credit will be increased by five.
If your credit is zero, you can no longer send a chat message. In this situation
you have two options, namely a one-time 24-hour wait to improve your credit
back, or you can send sms to your own phone, and then reply to the message a
few times. Every time you send a reply message, you will receive five credits.
And hopefully with the Gmail sms service
will enable Gmail users around the world.
