The
news is surprising this time coming from the giant Yahoo. Tough decisions must
be taken by the company's internet, it said that there had to shut down his
business in South Korea
Crowded
market dominated local web portal is the reason behind the decision.
"Operations in Korea face many challenges and weaken Yahoo bussiness
overall growth in recent years." Yahoo Korea said in a statement.
From
some of the information, local portals such as Naver and Daum Communications
Corp. is dominating the search traffic in the state's K-Pop. In September, the
Korean portal Naver leads the market with 52% market share and Daum
Communications Corp. 34% were for Yahoo Korea itself only works in the number
range of 1.5% only.
Yahoo
entered Korean territory in 1997. Starting early next year, the site
"version" Korea will be automatically rendering the UK site. And not
only have to face tough competition there, a company based in Sunnyvale, Calif.
